The Mental Health Active Response Team is a collaborative effort of multi-disciplinary mental health professionals and their respective membership organizations. Together, we can assist the State of Tennessee in crisis response efforts and support our communities. Our initiative is supported by the Tennessee Psychological Association, the National Association of Social Workers Tennessee Chapter, the Nashville Psychotherapy Institute, the Tennessee Association of Alcohol, Drug & other Addiction Services (TAADAS), the Tennessee Counseling Association, the Tennessee Psychiatric Association, Tennessee Association of Pastoral Therapists, the TN Association of Marriage & Family Therapists, the Inter Mountain Psychological Association, the Knoxville Area Psychological Association, the Memphis Area Psychological Association, the Nashville Psychological Association, the Rutherford Co. Psychotherapy Association, and the West Tennessee Counseling Association. We are also grateful for the support of the Belmont Social Work Alumni mailing list, the APA Division 22 listserv, the UT School of SW and Alumni mailing list, and these widely followed Facebook groups: Chattanooga Mental Health Professions, Greater Nashville Therapists Group, Midsouth Therapist Network, Social Workers Staying Connected, and Middle TN Mental Health Professionals.
