PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH VOLUNTEERS FOR THE COVID-19 EMOTIONAL SUPPORT LINE FOR HEALTHCARE WORKERS

Support line volunteer talking to a healthcare worker

You’re watching the suffering unfold. You are anticipating the impact of the pandemic on individuals’ mental health. You know you can help. But you can’t reach the people in your community who desperately need what you have to offer. Helping shouldn’t be this hard. We hear you.

We are the Mental Health Active Response Team. We are a team of private mental health professionals just like you. In partnership with the State of Tennessee, Tennessee Association of Alcohol, Drug & other Addiction Services (TAADAS), the Tennessee Psychological Association, the National Association of Social Workers Tennessee Chapter, and the Nashville Psychotherapy Institute, we have created a place where you can quickly connect to the people who need your help. Here you can offer your time and expertise to our frontline responders in their moment of need.

We’ve made it easy. Welcome to the Team.

The Tennessee COVID-19 Emotional Support Line is a free service for healthcare workers and first responders facing increased stress due to COVID-19. You are supporting us, and we are here to support you.

Help us launch this effort successfully and create a sustainable network of mental health volunteers in Tennessee. Your organization can help by recruiting volunteer mental health professionals, promoting the support line to healthcare workers or first responders, or contributing financially to the operating costs.
